Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Beter Puckley!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puckley gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Martin counters with a shoot takedown. Puckley fights it but they end up in guard.
Martin trying to control but Puckley is working from the bottom.
Martin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Puckley wants to stand and escape but Martin is having none of it.
Martin trying to control the position from guard on top but Puckley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Martin prevents Puckley from getting back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Puckley can do anything to dispel that myth.
Puckley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Martin is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Paul Martin.
Puckley throws a poor cross that misses

and Martin counters with a shoot takedown. Puckley fights it but they end up in guard.
Martin tries to free his leg and advance position but Puckley is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puckley has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Martin has passed into side control.
Puckley is pushing Martin's head away, looking to escape. Martin manages to hold on to the position though.

Puckley tries to bench press Martin off him but Martin keeps the position.

Martin scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Puckley to see if he's OK.
Martin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Puckley keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Martin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Martin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
You get the feeling that Puckley really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Martin lands a big shot there that rocks Puckley but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Puckley is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Martin controlling the position easily from mount.

Puckley is wriggling around trying to escape.

Puckley defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Martin.
Martin lands a heavy elbow.
Martin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

You get the feeling that Puckley really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Puckley is looking to improve his position but Martin isn't that keen on the idea.

Martin is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Martin!
