Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lay Pray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pray has chosen Don't Fear the Reaper- Blue Oyster Cult as his entrance music. Jay West could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lay Pray's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jay West! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lay Pray! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A clash of legs there as West blocks the low kick. Pray misses with a takedown and West counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pray thinking. Pray looks gassed! Pray closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming West to the mat! West manages to get full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. West pushes Pray off and scrambles back to his feet.
West will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
West tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pray sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten West somewhat. West tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pray swivels and escapes. West fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay West. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pray doesn't succeed with the takedown and West decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pray's guard. Pray keeping moving, preventing West from controlling successfully. Pray is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst West is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pray bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in West's guard. Pray pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. West is keeping the position for now. West keeping moving, preventing Pray from controlling successfully. Pray stops West from standing up. Pray slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. West wants to stand up but Pray is controlling him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pray gets a double leg takedown into West's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pray looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Pray looking to pass the guard. Pray slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Lay Pray hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. West misses with a few strikes there.
West throws a right hand that Pray ducks under and follows up with a left that Pray also avoids with ease. Pray dives in and grabs West's left leg, looking for a takedown. West pushes down on Pray's head and hops out. Pray keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A punch combination from West misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pray shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. West manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Pray is looking to work some ground and pound but West has wrist control. Pray controlling from the top position. Pray gets to his feet - West follows without any prompting. Pray looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Pray's corner is telling him to maintain position. Let's hope that Pray has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

and West counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pray is defended easily by West. West throws a leg kick but Pray moved away. No joy there for West, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Pray with a poor takedown and West counters with a one-two to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pray gets a takedown into half guard. Pray looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jay West will probably get the nod. That's time! West's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Pray stops West from standing up. Pray controlling from the top position. Lay Pray has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lay Pray wasn't active enough on the ground. Pray shoots in looking for a takedown but West manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pray's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pray motions for West to come forward. Pray throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from West lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pray has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pray and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. West gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pray counters with a single leg into guard. West didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pray distracts West with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Pray sitting in guard, not really doing much. West on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if West tries to get out of the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

West does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Nice sprawl there from West as Pray shoots in. Sloppy strikes from West. Those never looked like landing. West swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pray closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into West's guard. West wants to stand and escape but Pray is having none of it. Pray seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pray scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pray manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Pray sprawls well initially but West persists and gets the takedown into half guard. West is keen to just control but Pray is a slippery customer. Pray is controlling West's trapped leg to prevent West from advancing to side control. Pray wants to control but West is keeping busy.
