The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sliva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Roberts.
Sliva scores with a head kick. Roberts tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Nice cross by Sliva.
Sliva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Roberts sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sliva somewhat.
Sliva shoots in and drives through. Roberts sprawls well.
Sliva lands a jab-cross combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sliva.

Roberts moves into the clinch successfully.

Roberts escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sliva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Roberts to the mat! Roberts manages to get full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Roberts pulls Sliva in to control the position.
Sliva wants to stand and escape but instead Roberts has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Roberts throws a head kick that half lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sliva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roberts sprawls well. Roberts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sliva gets slowly back to his feet.
Sliva avoids the head kick by Roberts.
