Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johannah Holmbom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Gregory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmbom throws a sloppy head kick and Gregory moves out of range easily.
Gregory throws a leg kick
and Holmbom counters with an outside leg kick.
Gregory changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Holmbom looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Holmbom is looking to reverse the position.
Gregory is trying to get an arm triangle but Holmbom is defending well.

Gregory stands up and beckons Holmbom to his feet.

and Gregory counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gregory.

Gregory's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Gregory forces his way into half guard.
Gregory looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gregory connects with a nice short shot to Holmbom's temple.

Holmbom wants to control but Gregory is keeping busy.
Gregory has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Holmbom is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Holmbom takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Gregory lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
It looks like Johannah Holmbom has been cut.
Holmbom holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Gregory tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Gregory tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Gregory fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Holmbom to the ground. Gregory is now in Holmbom's guard.
Holmbom utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gregory is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Gregory postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Paul Gregory has got the better of the ground game so far.

Gregory is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Holmbom looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gregory is one step ahead there.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gregory throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holmbom.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
