Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sir Blocko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Puman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puman has chosen Lunatic Soul - Lunatic Soul as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sir Blocko has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sir Blocko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jan Puman!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puman tries to clinch but Blocko is having none of it.
Blocko checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nice takedown defense from Puman. No joy for Blocko on that attempt.
Blocko motions for Puman to come forward. Blocko throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Blocko misses with a leg kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A low kick from Blocko misses
and Puman counters with a good, hard body kick but Blocko shrugs it off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blocko is looking to slow Puman down with leg kicks.
Blocko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Puman. That did some damage!

Puman gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Blocko counters with an inside leg kick.
Puman defending well as Blocko loads up on a big left hand.
Puman looks to land a body kick but Blocko moved away.
Blocko throws a lazy right hand but Puman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Blocko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Puman as he avoids it easily.
Blocko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Blocko doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Puman counters with an inside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sir Blocko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Blocko counters with a nice body kick.

Puman thows a leg kick but Blocko checks it
and Blocko counters with a low kick, right behind Puman 's knee.
Puman has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Blocko.

and Puman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Blocko is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Puman misses with an elbow strike.
Blocko avoiding damage as Puman throws knees to the body.

With the fighters up against the cage, Puman throws an elbow but misses.
Puman tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Blocko is trying to maintain a safe position but Puman gets an underhook and turns Blocko into the cage.
Blocko goes for a takedown attempt but Puman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Puman throws a nice outside leg kick.
Blocko misses with a straight left.
Blocko scores with a takedown into Puman's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Puman controls Blocko momentarily but Blocko frees himself.
Puman wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Puman keeping moving, preventing Blocko from controlling successfully.
Blocko throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blocko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Blocko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jan Puman will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

and Blocko counters with a single leg into guard. Puman didn't expect that.
Blocko thows a big elbow that misses.
Blocko tries to free his leg and advance position but Puman is retaining full guard.
Blocko trying to control but Puman is working from the bottom.
Puman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Puman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blocko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blocko is really struggling to control Puman but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Blocko is working Puman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Blocko drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Blocko as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Puman screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Blocko! Nice submission victory there!
