Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karol Barorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ozzy Wylde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barorf comes into the arena with Wena - Salutuj blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Wylde's choice of entrance music: "Get It Up" by Chickenfoot. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karol Barorf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ozzy Wylde!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wylde wants to clinch up but Barorf keeps it at a distance.
A nice inside leg kick there by Barorf. That's going to slow Wylde down.
Wylde tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barorf was well out of range. Poor timing from Wylde.
Barorf throws a sloppy head kick and Wylde moves out of range easily.
Barorf pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barorf ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wylde moves away.
A head kick misses from Barorf.
Wylde takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Ozzy Wylde has been cut.
Barorf is looking to chop away at Wylde's legs.
Barorf connects with a looping right hand.
Barorf throws a chopping leg kick but Wylde manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Barorf throws a leg kick but Wylde checks it.

Wylde throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Barorf tries a head kick but it misses.
Good work by Wylde as he checks the leg kick.

Wylde drives through with a takedown into guard.

Barorf has his foot on Wylde's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wylde works his way back into a safe position though.

Barorf manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wylde manages to get himself to full guard.

Wylde pulls Barorf in close to prevent any damage.
Barorf wants to control from the top but Wylde keeps moving.
Wylde wants to stand up but Barorf is controlling him.
Wylde is pulling down on Barorf's head to control his posture.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wylde can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Karol Barorf just wasn't active enough.
Wylde throws an off balance right hand
and Barorf counters with an inside leg kick.
Wylde throws a predictable looking body shot
and Barorf counters with a series of strikes. Wylde will be more careful next time no doubt.
Wylde wants to clinch
and Barorf counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Barorf counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wylde thinking.
Wylde tries to clinch up but Barorf circles away and keeps his distance.
Wylde throws a jab but it's blocked by Barorf.

Wylde closes the distance and clinches.
Barorf jumps guard but Wylde stands there with Barorf around his waist. Barorf gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wylde is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Barorf has had enough of the clinch but Wylde keeps him there for the moment.
Wylde stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Barorf has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Wylde has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Barorf regains guard immediately.

Barorf is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Wylde not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Wylde avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wylde postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Wylde is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Barorf is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Wylde rolls with it to try and escape but Barorf cranks on the arm and Wylde is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Karol Barorf!
