Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Jhones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandrovich Fyodor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fyodor has chosen The Last Emperor as his entrance music. Jhones has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alan Jhones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexandrovich Fyodor!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jhones moves to clinch but Fyodor breaks away
and Fyodor counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jhones's guard now.
Fyodor trying to control but Jhones is working from the bottom.
Fyodor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jhones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jhones can't keep his opponent in guard - Fyodor advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Fyodor trying to control from half guard but Jhones is working away.
Fyodor passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jhones!
Fyodor landing strikes, looking to finish!
It looks like Alan Jhones has been cut.

Fyodor avoids the attempt from Jhones to control.

Fyodor with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jhones is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Fyodor working for a submission but Jhones is keeping him at bay.
Fyodor looking to control but Jhones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jhones is trying desperately to improve position.

Fyodor might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jhones kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Jhones can't escape the position.
Fyodor goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jhones turns into him and now he's in Fyodor's guard.
Jhones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fyodor swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fyodor manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jhones is breathing heavily.
Fyodor drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jhones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jhones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jhones!
Fyodor is trying to get back to half guard.
Fyodor can't do much from the bottom here.
Jhones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fyodor is trying to buck Jhones off.
Jhones swings around for an armbar but Fyodor sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jhones's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexandrovich Fyodor dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jhones wants to clinch but Fyodor slips to the side
and Fyodor counters with a stiff right hand.
Jhones closes the distance but Fyodor moves to the side
and Fyodor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Fyodor counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jhones's guard now.
Jhones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fyodor defends well.
Fyodor advances to half guard.
Fyodor works his foot free and advances to mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fyodor is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Jhones is forced to tap! Great finish!
