Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stan Presley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ratt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Country boy can survive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stan Presley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ratt Hughes! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Presley misses with a straight right. Hughes checks a low kick from Presley. Hughes on the wrong end of a nice jab. Presley misses with a straight left. A looping hook to the body misses from Presley. Hughes does a little dance to reset his feet. Hughes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Presley sprawls well. Presley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hughes gets slowly back to his feet. Presley misses with a body kick. Hughes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Presley napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hughes is looking to take a break and control but Presley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Presley tries to bench press Hughes off him but Hughes keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hughes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Presley keeps working. Hughes happy to just control the position for now. Presley taking a bit of punishment here - Hughes scoring with strikes. Presley tries to improve position but can't. Hughes trying to control the action but Presley is working from the bottom. Hughes staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Presley is trying to improve his position. Presley wants to get back to his feet but Hughes drags him back down. Hughes slows the pace down. Sloppy strikes there by Hughes. Hughes in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hughes wants to control for a moment but Presley uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Hughes is trying to control. Presley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Presley tries to get to full guard but Hughes has control of the leg. Hughes keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ratt Hughes. Hughes throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Presley wants to land a leg kick but Hughes is out of range. Hughes throws a body punch but Presley moves out of range. Hughes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hughes passes Presley's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hughes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hughes is working for a kimura but Presley is defending it quite comfortably.
Hughes is controlling the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ratt Hughes dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Presley scores with a shot to the body.
Hughes does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A jab from Presley finds it's way through Hughes's defenses. Hughes connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Presley is looking to clinch. Presley scores with the left hand. Hughes knows he should have avoided that one. Hughes moves out of range of the leg kick from Presley. Hughes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Presley. Presley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Presley misses with a right hand and Hughes counters with a nice uppercut. Hughes tries for a takedown but Presley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hughes lands with a right hand. Hughes checks the leg kick. Presley digs a good hook to Hughes's body.
A slow jab from Presley misses its intended target. Hughes throws a nice looking combination but Presley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hughes misses with the combination.
Presley slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Presley swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Presley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hughes moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Presley stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hughes. Stan Presley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hughes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Presley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Presley turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hughes misses the jab. Hughes lands with a nice combination. Presley backs away looking to recover. Hughes moves out of range of the strikes. Presley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hughes. Presley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hughes manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Presley turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. No joy there for Presley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Presley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ratt Hughes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hughes uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Presley misses with a looping left. Nice straight punches there by Hughes. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hughes. Hughes throws a good cross that connects.
Presley stuffs the takedown. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hughes.
Hughes lands the left hand. Presley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hughes moves away. Presley dodges the punch combination from Hughes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Presley misses with a body kick. Hughes shoots in for a takedown but Presley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Stan Presley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ratt Hughes. Hughes scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jab from Presley. Presley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A clash of legs there as Presley blocks the low kick. Presley tries to clinch up but Hughes circles away and keeps his distance. Presley looks to score with a jab to the body but Hughes is just out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hughes throws a hook but Presley avoids it easily. Stan Presley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hughes misses with a low kick.
Presley lands with a slapping head kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Presley dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Presley jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hughes throws a nice looking combination but Presley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Presley lands a leg kick that knocks Hughes off balance momentarily. Presley throws a push kick but Hughes slaps the foot to one side. Presley attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Presley thows a body shot but no joy. Hughes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Presley but Presley pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hughes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Presley swivels and escapes. Presley dips to his left and cracks Hughes with an uppercut! Presley throws a lazy head kick and Hughes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hughes circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Hughes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hughes!
Hughes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Presley tries to clinch up but Hughes circles away and keeps his distance. Presley tries to score with a low kick but Hughes moves his leg out of the way. Presley swings for the body but Hughes moves out of range.

Hughes uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hughes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Stan Presley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ratt Hughes. Presley throws a front kick aimed at Hughes's knee but Hughes avoids it well. Hughes throws a looping overhand right but Presley ducks down to avoid it.

Hughes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Presley throws a big shot that misses. Presley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Stan Presley is winning the standup battle so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Decent striking displayed by Presley there. Hughes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Presley fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hughes is out of range. Hughes walks into a left hand. Presley fails with an attempt to clinch.

Hughes shoots in looking for a takedown but Presley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hughes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hughes jabs at Presley's body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice defenses there by Hughes. Hughes avoids a lazy jab quite easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Presley looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hughes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Presley as he avoids it easily. Hughes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that's the end of the fight! Stan Presley showed his dominance in that final round. I think Presley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
