Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Koster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sho Shinjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinjo has chosen Theme of Sho as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinjo tries to clinch but Koster moves out of range.
A clash of legs there as Koster blocks the low kick.
Koster throws a sloppy head kick and Shinjo moves out of range easily.
Shinjo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Koster swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Koster. Shinjo shrugs it off though.

Shinjo has Koster pressed against the cage, preventing Koster from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Shinjo drops his shoulder and cracks Koster with a huge uppercut! Koster goes down! Can Shinjo finish him?
Koster is rocked!
Shinjo drops back looking for a leg! Koster is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Koster manages to kick Shinjo off! Shinjo jumps back into Koster's guard.
Oh Koster is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Koster had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shinjo defends it easily.

Shinjo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Koster seems to have got his legs back now.
Shinjo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Koster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shinjo has managed to get both his arms back between Koster's legs - danger averted.
Shinjo is looking to work some ground and pound but Koster has wrist control.
Shinjo stands up from Koster's guard - Shinjo perhaps looking for a knockout.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sho Shinjo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
