The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Vaber. That's going to slow Sonnen down.
Sonnen throws a head kick that misses
and Vaber counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sonnen's knee momentarily.
Chanderson Sonnen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vaber lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Sonnen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sonnen throws a body kick the misses
and Vaber counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sonnen is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Vaber makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sonnen really felt that one!

Sonnen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sonnen sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Vaber lands a brutal head kick. Sonnen looks out on his feet and Vaber throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
