Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jon Ricksin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quentin Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Jon Ricksin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quentin Burns! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns misses with the combination.
Ricksin scores with a shot to the body.
Ricksin gets the takedown into side control. Ricksin working the ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ricksin looks up at the clock and then as Burns takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ricksin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ricksin is looking to take a break and control but Burns is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ricksin working the body and head with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ricksin working the head with strikes. Burns gets back to half guard. Burns is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Burns is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ricksin scores with a couple of nice shots. Ricksin is looking to advance position but Burns won't allow it. Ricksin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Burns slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Burns is looking for a triangle but Ricksin pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ricksin is one step ahead there. Burns escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ricksin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Burns is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Burns looks gassed! Ricksin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Burns's head. Burns throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ricksin works a leg free and moves into half guard. Ricksin seems to be looking for submissions.
Ricksin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ricksin working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ricksin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ricksin trying to pass the guard but Burns defending well. Ricksin is nestled in close to Burns, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ricksin wants to control but Burns is keeping him busy. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ricksin lands a nice short elbow. Ricksin drops an elbow to the side of Burns's head.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Burns lands with a nice combination. Ricksin backs away looking to recover. Ricksin avoids the head kick by Burns.
Ricksin looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Burns looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burns manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ricksin manages to get himself to full guard.
Ricksin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Burns is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ricksin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Burns's back instead. Ricksin working for a choke but Burns is defending well. Burns manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ricksin's guard. Nice work there by Burns.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ricksin controlling Burns's posture. Ricksin working a defensive guard here.
Burns is pushing down on Ricksin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ricksin is fighting to maintain full guard but Burns has managed to sneak the leg through. Ricksin is looking to improve his position.
Burns works his way into side control. Burns has an Americana. Ricksin didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Burns is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Burns hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
