Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tsuda Suzuki! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suzuki misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Van Der Klaas looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Suzuki swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Suzuki fails to land with a series of punches.
Suzuki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suzuki shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Van Der Klaas eats them both and turns towards Suzuki to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Suzuki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suzuki misses with a wild combination.
Suzuki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Van Der Klaas counters with a single leg into guard. Suzuki didn't expect that. Suzuki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Van Der Klaas defends it easily. Van Der Klaas stays in close to Suzuki's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Suzuki looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Van Der Klaas is defending well. Suzuki quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Van Der Klaas has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Suzuki celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
