Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Muai Kick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ty Angle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Muai Kick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ty Angle! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angle scores a takedown into full mount! Kick tries to hold on but Angle pushes him away. Kick keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Angle gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Nice takedown defense from Kick. No joy for Angle on that attempt. Angle scores a takedown into full mount! Kick is looking to improve his position but Angle isn't that keen on the idea. Kick tries to hold on but Angle postures up. Angle sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Kick regains half guard. Kick is looking for a sweep. Angle is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kick trying to hold on to Angle's head to control him but Angle postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Angle is tying to control. Kick wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kick is trying to control but can't.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Angle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Angle. Muai Kick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ty Angle. Kick changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Angle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kick throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Kick working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kick is breathing heavily. Kick staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angle is trying to improve his position. Kick wants to control but Angle is keeping him busy. Angle regains half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Angle actively working from the bottom here. Kick wants to control but Angle is keeping him busy. Kick stalling. Angle looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kick is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Angle defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angle looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kick trying to pass the guard but Angle defending well. Angle is looking to control Kick's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Angle avoid being mounted?
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kick feints and as Angle raises his hands in defense, Kick changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Angle seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Angle looking for a guillotine here but Kick defends easily.
Kick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Angle swivels though and keeps the full guard. Angle manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kick is trying to escape the mount.
Angle wants to take Kick's back here but Kick is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Angle working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kick turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Angle off and cradles Kick's limp body as Angle celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Ty Angle!
