Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultimate Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold- by Ted Nugent. Kyle Gunn has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Gunn! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ultimate Warrior! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunn throws a right and a left that both miss. A decent looking cross lands there for Gunn. Kyle Gunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gunn scores with a head kick.
Gunn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Warriors jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Warrior on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Gunn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gunn throws a right hand that Warrior ducks under and follows up with a left that Warrior also avoids with ease. Gunn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gunn lands a nice looking body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gunn. Warrior does a little dance to reset his feet. Gunn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gunn tries to clinch up. Gunn lands with an uppercut that bounces Warrior off the cage and back into rage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gunn throws a looping overhand right but Warrior ducks down to avoid it. Warrior defending well as Gunn loads up on a big left hand. Gunn throws a big shot that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn throws the left hand but Warrior avoids the punch easily. Gunn misses the jab. Gunn lands a nice hook to Warrior's body. Warrior takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Gunn with a jab. Warrior circles away from the clinch attempt.

A clash of legs there as Warrior blocks the low kick. Jab by Gunn. Gunn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gunn misses the jab. Gunn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Gunn looks to throw the jab but Warrior is out of range. Warrior ducks right into an uppercut from Gunn. Gunn throws a body kick that misses.

Warrior keeps the fight on the outside. Gunn tries a low kick but Warrior avoids it. Gunn misses with a hook. Warrior takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Warrior fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gunn fails in his attempt to clinch. Warrior looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Warrior scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Warrior is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Warrior not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gunn wants to get back to full guard. Gunn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gunn. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warrior is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Warrior drops back looking for a leg! Gunn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gunn manages to kick Warrior off! Warrior jumps back into Gunn's guard. Warrior thows a big elbow that misses. Warrior in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gunn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gunn is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Gunn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Warrior gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Warrior stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gunn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gunn is looking for a triangle but Warrior pushes his legs off easily.
Gunn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Warrior! Gunn looking for a guillotine from mount but Warrior is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gunn looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Kyle Gunn dominated that round. That's time! Gunn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gunn defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Warrior. Gunn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gunn wants it to stay on the feet. Gunn's corner calls for a 1-2. Gunn obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Gunn lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Gunn tries to clinch up. Gunn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Warrior swats him away and circles back towards the center. Warrior takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Gunn misses the shot to the body. Gunn misses with an uppercut. Warrior saw that one coming. Gunn misses with a double jab.
Gunn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Warrior circles away quickly and effectively. Gunn with a nice cross. Gunn misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Warrior. Warrior closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gunn circles away. Kyle Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ultimate Warrior. Gunn misses with the combination.
Gunn connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Gunn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gunn throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Gunn cracks Warrior with an open hand slap. Kyle Gunn is winning the standup battle so far. Gunn thows a left - swing and a miss! Gunn jabs Warrior to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gunn doesn't manage to clinch there - Warrior circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunn lunges at Warrior with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Warrior's hand. Warrior shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gunn as he jumps to the side. A swing and a miss from Gunn. Warrior keeps the fight on the outside. Warrior keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gunn. Gunn misses with a straight right. Warrior tries to move into range but Gunn moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Gunn throws a right and a left that both miss. Gunn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gunn fails to land with a series of punches.

Gunn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Warrior avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Warrior takes one to the side of the head.
Warrior is rocked! A jab-cross combination lands for Gunn and sends Warrior crashing to the mat! Gunn follows him down to the mat - Warrior regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! Warrior is still in real trouble! Can Gunn finish him? Gunn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Warrior is just riding it out for now. Gunn eventually gives up the hold. Warrior is looking for a sweep. Gunn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gunn works his way into side control. Warrior seems to have recovered his senses. Warrior is looking to regain half guard here but Gunn keeps moving and retains side control. Gunn cracks Warrior with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gunn working the head and body with strikes. Gunn lands some shots froms side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Warrior is looking to reverse the position. Warrior is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Warrior is breathing heavily. Gunn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Warrior is working to avoid the ground and pound but Gunn connects with a decent elbow. Warrior tries to bench press Gunn off him but Gunn keeps the position. Gunn is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Warrior looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gunn gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Warrior is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gunn lets go of the hold and Warrior can pop his arm back in it's socket.
