Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mad Dog Vachon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Grim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vachon's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gros jambon. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mad Dog Vachon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rick Grim!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vachon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vachon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Grim but Grim pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vachon has a takedown stuffed.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Grim clinches with his opponent.
Grim jumps into guard, dragging Vachon to the mat.
Vachon trying to control but Grim is working from the bottom.
Vachon works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Grim can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vachon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Vachon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grim regains full guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vachon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Grim has his hands on Vachon's head, controlling the position.
Grim wants to sweep but no luck.
Grim is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Vachon trying to control but Grim is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vachon advances position into side control!
Grim regains half guard there - taking advantage of Vachon's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Grim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vachon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Grim wants to control but Vachon is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Grim is trying is best to control the position here.
Grim is refusing to be controlled, as Vachon sits in half guard.
Grim is defending against the submission attempts here by Vachon.
Vachon throwing shots but Grim is blocking nicely.

Vachon works his way into side control.
Vachon in side control, throwing shots but Grim defends.
Grim tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vachon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Grim struggling a bit here.
Vachon goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Grim rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Vachon's guard! Nice work there by Grim!
Grim trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Grim connects with a couple of short punches.
Vachon keeping moving, preventing Grim from controlling successfully.
Grim lands a couple of elbows.
Vachon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Grim controls the pace.
Grim works over Vachon with some ground and pound from guard.
Grim slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vachon manages to work his way to half guard, despite Grim's best efforts.
Grim working the head and body with strikes.
Grim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vachon's head.
Vachon is looking to control Grim's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vachon avoid being mounted?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Grim trying to pass the guard but Vachon defending well.
Grim looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vachon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Grim is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Grim dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Vachon is looking to clinch but Grim is avoiding it.
Mad Dog Vachon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Grim scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Grim scores with a couple of short elbows.
Grim in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Vachon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Grim off and has taken his back!
Vachon doesn't have the hooks in and Grim manages to turn into his guard.
Vachon uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Grim circles away from the clinch attempt.

Grim throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Grim gets a double leg takedown into Vachon's guard.
Grim trying to control the position from guard on top but Vachon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vachon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grim defends it easily.
Grim is working Vachon over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Vachon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Grim is aware though and is defending well.
Grim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vachon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Grim lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vachon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grim doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Vachon is tightening it up a little... Grim has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Grim reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Grim taps out! nice BJJ there by Vachon!
