Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Ratz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Throwed Mexican (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Ratz.

Ratz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ratz tries to get out of the position.
Mexican lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Ratz counters with a head kick. That will keep Mexican thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Ratz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mexican tries to close the distance and clinch but Ratz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Ratz counters with a single leg into guard. Mexican didn't expect that.
Ratz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mexican on the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mexican takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Ratz wants to control from the top but Mexican keeps moving.

Ratz gets tackled into the cage by Mexican . Mexican maintains the clinch.
Ratz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ratz prevents the takedown attempt.
Ratz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mexican is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ratz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ratz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mexican keeps working.
Jordan Ratz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Mexican is not content to let Ratz control the position.

Jordan Ratz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ratz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
