William comes to the cage accompanied by Outlaw's Reward . James William could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marshall Mathers's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathers stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from William.

and Mathers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
William shoots in but no luck this time.
Mathers sizes up William with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
William misses with a right hand
and Mathers counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mathers slaps away a takedown attempt from William, before circling back to the center of the mat.
William falls off balance throwing a combination

William feints and then cracks Mathers's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mathers down.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for William. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
