Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Jericho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jericho comes to the cage accompanied by Pyhimys - 0. Spencer has chosen Ride Of The Valkyries - Richard Wagner as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jericho looks to score with a jab to the body but Spencer is just out of range.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Spencer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Jericho counters with a nice uppercut.

and Jericho counters with a left to the body.
Jericho tries to close the distance and clinch but Spencer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Spencer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jericho's guard.

Spencer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jericho swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jericho is not content to let Spencer control the position.
Jericho sneaks back into half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Spencer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Spencer content to control rather than advance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Spencer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jericho!

Mark Spencer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Spencer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ricky Jericho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jericho avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Spencer.
Spencer swings around for an armbar but Jericho sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Spencer's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Spencer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jericho thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Spencer is trying to control but can't.
Spencer desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Jericho is working for a kimura but Spencer is defending it quite comfortably.
And that's the end of the fight!
