Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robin Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chanderson Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robin Hood is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robin Hood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chanderson Sonnen! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sonnen tries to clinch and Hood counters with a nice double leg into guard. Hood wants to pass the guard but Sonnen is keeping the position. Hood passes Sonnen's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hood throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hood not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hood wants to work for an arm triangle but Sonnen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hood passes to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hood looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sonnen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Hood tries to control but Sonnen wriggling away. Hood has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Poor strikes thrown by Hood there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hood looking for a guillotine from mount but Sonnen is having none of it. Hood throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hood looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Hood controlling the pace for now. Hood scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hood working for a submission but Sonnen is keeping him at bay. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hood looking to control but Sonnen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sonnen is trying desperately to improve position. Sonnen is squirming around, avoiding Hood's attempts to control the action. Hood looking for a guillotine from mount but Sonnen is having none of it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sonnen can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hood looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Hood looking to ground and pound but Sonnen is blocking nicely. Hood can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sonnen is looking to escape. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hood is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sonnen to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sonnen shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robin Hood dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hood circles away from the clinch attempt and Hood counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hood is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sonnen sees it coming and defends easily. Sonnen wants to control but Hood is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hood seems to be looking for submissions.
Robin Hood overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hood trying to control the action but Sonnen is working from the bottom. Hood passes to full mount! Hood looking to control but Sonnen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hood quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Hood but it's paid off an Sonnen is forced to tap! Nice work by Hood.
