Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lil Ricky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vulpes Inculta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inculta circles away from the clinch attempt.
Inculta with a poor takedown
and Ricky counters with a big head kick but Inculta shrugs it off.

Ricky drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Inculta can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ricky decides to stand back up. Ricky steps back and let's Inculta get back to his feet.
Ricky lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ricky tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Inculta counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ricky's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Inculta throws a big right hand that misses.
Ricky bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Inculta's guard.
Inculta tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ricky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Inculta keeps working.

Ricky decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Inculta wants to clinch up but Ricky keeps it at a distance.

Inculta closes the distance and clinches.

Ricky breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Inculta dives in and scores a takedown into Ricky's guard.

Inculta wants to stand but Ricky has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Inculta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ricky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ricky is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Inculta defends well.

Ricky has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Inculta off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Ricky tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Inculta smiles and moves away.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Inculta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Inculta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ricky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Inculta shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ricky's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ricky somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Inculta wants to escape the position.
Ricky is trying to stick to Inculta's back but Inculta is turning into Ricky. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ricky's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Inculta.

Vulpes Inculta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Inculta tries to clinch there but Ricky circles away.
Ricky stalks Inculta and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Inculta's face. Inculta staggers backwards, shaken.
Ricky ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Inculta shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ricky is trying to defend but Inculta finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ricky slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Vulpes Inculta has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ricky pushes Inculta off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Inculta rushes Ricky and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Inculta jumps guard but Ricky stands there with Inculta around his waist. Inculta gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
