Ueda comes to the cage accompanied by Requiem for a Dream. Chimal comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jenji Ueda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Armando Chimal! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Ueda lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chimal doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Armando Chimal has been cut. Ueda throws a right and a left that both miss. Chimal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ueda has closed the distance and engaged Chimal in a clinch.
Ueda is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Chimal is defending well for now. Chimal dodges an elbow strike from Ueda.

Chimal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Chimal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ueda's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chimal gets to his feet. Ueda looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Ueda rushes Chimal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Armando Chimal. I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
