The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samara scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Spar Rer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rer looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Samara circles away from the clinch attempt.
Samara works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Samara throws a good cross that connects.

Samara dodges an elbow strike from Rer.

Rer comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Samara wants to break the clinch but can't.
Samara has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rer uses from the top position.
Samara trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Rer is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Samara has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rer is looking to defend but Samara has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rer! Samara pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rer taps out and this one is all over!
