The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Onizuka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Onizuka counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Svenson!
Svenson tries to hold on but Onizuka postures up.

Onizuka is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Svenson scores with a couple of nice shots.

Svenson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Onizuka takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Onizuka shoots in for a takedown but Svenson shows good takedown defense.
Lars Svenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Onizuka takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Svenson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nice uppercut lands for Svenson. That snapped Onizuka's head back.
