The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Landry throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A head kick by Landry misses and Jordan counters with a low kick, right behind Landry 's knee. Jordan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Landry throws a looping overhand right but Jordan ducks down to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick by Landry misses and Jordan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Landry's guard. Landry is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan wants to sweep but Landry has passed to side control! Jordan is looking to reverse the position. Landry content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Landry works to advance to full mount. Jordan defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Landry controlling from mount. Jordan is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Landry avoids the attempt from Jordan to control. Landry wants to control the pace but Jordan is squirming around nicely. Landry controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Marcelino Landry. Landry throws an off balance right hand
and Jordan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Landry thinking. Nice straight punches there by Jordan. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jordan. Landry thumps Jordan with a low kick. Landry gets off balance looking for a body kick and Jordan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A head kick by Jordan misses and Landry counters with an inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Marcelino Landry will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A jab from Jordan misses. Jordan lands the left hand. Jordan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Landry is fending him off so far but Jordan persists. Nope, Landry circles away and we're back to standing. Landry loads up on a big right hand but Jordan slips the punch. Landry misses with a body punch
and Landry takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Marcelino Landry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

letting Jordan counter with a right hand. Landry throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Landry connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jordan momentarily.
Landry throws a lazy body kick and Jordan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jordan walks into a left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big right from Jordan misses. A low kick from Landry misses and Jordan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Landry swings widly with a right hand
and Jordan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Landry scores with a leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jordan shoots in for a takedown but Landry shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan misses with a right hand and Landry counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jordan looks to land a right hand but Landry moved out of range. Landry throws a lazy body kick and Jordan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Landry throws a poor cross that misses
and Jordan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Landry won't be happy with that. Landry is pushing Jordan's head away, looking to escape. Jordan manages to hold on to the position though. Landry holds on to Jordan's head and controls the position momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Landry managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jordan.
Landry can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Landry regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jordan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Landry!

Jordan looking to control but Landry is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Jordan throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Landry because Jordan loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Landry tries to lock up and control but Jordan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Landry is squirming around, avoiding Jordan's attempts to control the action. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Landry is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jordan trying to control but Landry is having none of it. Landry is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Landry manages to regain half guard. Good work. Landry moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Landry pulls Jordan in close to prevent any damage.

Joe Jordan clearly takes that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jordan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Landry. The crowd cheers as Jordan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Landry doesn't seem phased though. Marcelino Landry seems to be getting the better of the standup. Landry throws a lazy uppercut
and Landry takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A jab from Landry misses. Jordan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Landry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Landry lands a big head kick that sends Jordan tumbling to the mat! Landry takes a step backwards and waves Jordan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jordan is rocked! Landry throws a leg kick that is checked and Jordan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Jordan fails in his attempt to clinch. Landry swings away with a leg kick that misses. Landry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jordan manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Landry as he avoids it easily. Landry throws a right and a left that both miss. Nice uppercut there from Landry. Jordan fails with a takedown attempt. Jordan is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Landry misses with a right hand and Jordan counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Landry connects with an inside leg kick. Landry lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Landry rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jordan counters with a single leg into guard. Landry didn't expect that. Landry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Landry lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jordan! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Landry wants to control the pace but Jordan is squirming around nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jordan is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcelino Landry dominated that fourth round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

He's pushing on Jordan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Landry is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jordan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Landry keeps working. Joe Jordan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Still in half guard, Jordan seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan moves nicely into side control. Landry is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Marcelino Landry is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jordan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Landry has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Landry is looking to regain half guard here but Jordan keeps moving and retains side control. Landry is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Jordan showed his dominance in that final round. I think Landry has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
