Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez moves away from the strike by Wayne.
Wayne wants to clinch up but Sanchez keeps it at a distance.
Sanchez circles away from the clinch attempt
and Sanchez counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wayne struggling a bit here.
Wayne is pushing Sanchez's head away, looking to escape. Sanchez manages to hold on to the position though.
An elbow from Sanchez crashes against the mat.
Sanchez scores with a couple of short elbows.
Sanchez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanchez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sanchez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wayne knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sanchez throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Wayne works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Sanchez seems to be working for a kimura but Wayne defends the submission attempt.
Wayne wants to get back to full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sanchez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wayne keeping hold of Sanchez's head, controlling as best he can.
Sanchez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sanchez is trying for a kimura here. Wayne looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Sanchez wins by kimura!
