Youngblood comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the Jungle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Youngblood.
Youngblood tried to score with a low kick but Patterson checks it.
Patterson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

That was a close round but I would say that Trujillo Youngblood will probably get the nod.

It looks like Abe Patterson has been cut.

and Patterson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Youngblood doesn't manage to clinch there - Patterson circles away.
Youngblood tries to sprawl but Patterson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Patterson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Patterson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Youngblood lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Patterson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Patterson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Youngblood takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Youngblood throws a leg kick but Patterson sees it coming and moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Patterson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Youngblood sprawls well. Youngblood wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Patterson gets slowly back to his feet.
