Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santon Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miko Maciano!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Miko Maciano has been cut.
Maciano misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Emelianenko stuffs the takedown attempt from Maciano. Maciano gets slowly back to his feet.
Emelianenko lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Maciano shoots in and drives through. Emelianenko sprawls well.
Santon Emelianenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miko Maciano.
Maciano blocks a head kick by Emelianenko.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maciano tries for a takedown but Emelianenko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Emelianenko is looking for a sweep. Maciano is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Maciano is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Emelianenko tries to kick Maciano off in order to stand up. Maciano Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Emelianenko is trying to escape the position but Maciano is controlling the position.

Emelianenko tries to hold on but Maciano pushes him away.
Emelianenko's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Maciano takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Emelianenko tries to hold on but Maciano postures up.
Maciano takes Emelianenko's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Emelianenko is in trouble.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Emelianenko scores with a one two! Maciano had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Emelianenko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The cut above Miko Maciano's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Emelianenko has managed to clinch.
Emelianenko lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Emelianenko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Maciano gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Miko Maciano's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
