Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Dragunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dragunov comes to the ring accompanied by Red Army - Kalinka. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergei Dragunov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Khan!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Khan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dragunov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khan tries to avoid it but Dragunov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khan to the ground. Khan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dragunov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Khan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dragunov shoots in looking for a takedown. Khan tries to sprawl out of it but Dragunov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Khan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dragunov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Khan - the referee stops the clock and Dragunov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Khan. Dragunov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Dragunov is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Khan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dragunov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dragunov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dragunov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
