The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Limmen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Van Der Hook momentarily.
Limmen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Van Der Hook. Van Der Hook circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Limmen throws an off balance right hand
and Van Der Hook counters by clinching up.
Van Der Hook has Limmen pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Limmen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

and Van Der Hook counters by moving into the clinch.
Van Der Hook jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Limmen walks away with a smile on his face. Van Der Hook gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A combination from Limmen does no damage.

and Van Der Hook counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Van Der Hook is looking to advance position but Limmen has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Van Der Hook tries to hold on but Limmen pushes him away.
Van Der Hook sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Limmen seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Van Der Hook is on top in guard.
