Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Anderson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fight for your Right to Party. Frank Anderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Carter! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson is looking to clinch but Carter is avoiding it.
Anderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carter's guard. Carter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Anderson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Anderson connects with a couple of short punches. Anderson throwing strikes from guard but Carter blocks nicely. Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carter swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anderson has managed to get both his arms back between Carter's legs - danger averted. Carter manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Carter works his way to his opponent's back.
Carter is trying to stick to Anderson's back but Anderson is turning into Carter. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Carter's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Anderson. Anderson slips nicely into half guard. Anderson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Anderson passes the guard and advances to mount! The referee warns Carter that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
It looks like Rick Carter has been cut. Carter looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That has opened up Rick Carter's cut even more. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oooooh, big shot lands for Anderson! Carter is hurt baaadly! Anderson is firing away with more strikes - Carter is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Anderson!
