Richards comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Into the Fire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Turd Ferguson could well score a knockout today. Ferguson lands with a good body shot.
Ferguson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Richards's hands.
Richards shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ferguson as he jumps to the side.
Ferguson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ferguson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ferguson tries to close the distance and clinch but Richards swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Richards takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Richards throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ferguson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Mickey Richards has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Ferguson counters with a series of strikes. Richards will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mickey Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ferguson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Richards looks gassed!
Ferguson cracks Richards with an open hand slap.
Ferguson jabs Richards right on the nose. Richards blinks but takes it well.
Ferguson doesn't manage to clinch there - Richards circles away.
