Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Valiente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demon Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Julio Valiente! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Demon Boyko! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Valiente avoids the head kick by Boyko.
Valiente looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Boyko! Valiente sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Valiente working the ground and pound effectively.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valiente controlling from the full mount. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Boyko is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Valiente lands a big shot there that rocks Boyko but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Valiente looking to secure an arm triangle but Boyko defends it well. Valiente landing strikes from the mount and Boyko is in trouble! Valiente tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Valiente has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Boyko's face.
Valiente controlling the pace for now. Boyko is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valiente controlling his opponent. Valiente postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Boyko looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julio Valiente dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Valiente fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boyko, pushing him back against the cage. Boyko is trying to break free. Boyko wants to break the clinch but can't.
Valiente drags the fight down to the ground.
Valiente is pulling down on Boyko's head to control his posture. Valiente is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Valiente with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Valiente thows a huge punch but Boyko dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valiente is looking for a kimura but Boyko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Valiente to get the leverage. Valiente looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Valiente's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Julio Valiente. Valiente tries to work over Boyko's front leg with a kick but Boyko checks it. Boyko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Valiente clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Boyko is trying to break the clinch but Valiente is controlling him. Valiente pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Boyko throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Julio Valiente has been cut. Boyko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Valiente sees it coming and avoids it easily. Valiente shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Valiente was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Valiente controlling the pace for now. Valiente with good strikes from the mount here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valiente scoring with strikes but Boyko is staying in there. Valiente content just to control the position here. Valiente looking to secure an arm triangle but Boyko defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Valiente controlling from the full mount. Boyko has given up his back here. Will Valiente look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Valiente biding his time, controlling Boyko. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julio Valiente dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Julio Valiente's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Boyko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Valiente forces Boyko back against the cage and clinches. Valiente taking a breather. Valiente changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Boyko fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fight moves into the clinch position. The referee calls for Valiente to work.
Valiente pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A low kick from Boyko is predictable there and Valiente counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Valiente moves nicely into side control. Boyko wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Boyko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valiente remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Valiente has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Valiente wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Boyko, who protects the arm well. Valiente is trying to get an arm triangle but Boyko is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Valiente has knee on belly and moves into mount. Boyko takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Valiente takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boyko squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valiente fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Valiente with good strikes from the mount here! Valiente is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Boyko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Valiente lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Demon Boyko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Valiente raining down shots from the mount! Valiente fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Valiente content just to control the position here. Julio Valiente is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Valiente scores with a couple of good head shots there.
And that's the end of the fight! Julio Valiente showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Valiente, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
