Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Namor McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McKenzie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Man From Atlantis kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Namor McKenzie!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gable on the side of the head.
Gable avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McKenzie scores with a kick to the midsection.
Gable throws a sloppy head kick
letting McKenzie counter with a right hand.
McKenzie missing with a left hand there. Gable was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Gable uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McKenzie.
Gable takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McKenzie swings away with a leg kick that misses.
McKenzie avoids a kick to the body.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
McKenzie cracks the inside of Gable's front leg.
McKenzie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gable.
McKenzie looks to score with a jab to the body but Gable is just out of range.
The fighters circling - McKenzie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Gable fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gable shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gable swings away with a body shot that misses
and McKenzie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gable fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McKenzie avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Gable. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McKenzie throws a leg kick
and Gable counters with a takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Namor McKenzie dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McKenzie does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McKenzie takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
McKenzie throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Gable on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McKenzie. McKenzie obviously looking to wear him down.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
An inside leg kick lands from McKenzie.
McKenzie goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
McKenzie lands a nice hook to Gable's body. Gable takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McKenzie tries to clinch up.
Namor McKenzie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gable throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gable throws a leg kick
and McKenzie counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

A slapping leg kick lands for McKenzie.
McKenzie misses with a leg kick
and Gable counters with a good low kick that McKenzie was not able to check.
McKenzie thuds his right hand into Gable's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A thudding body kick lands there by McKenzie!
McKenzie is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

McKenzie tries to close the distance and clinch but Gable swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
An inside leg kick lands from McKenzie.
McKenzie leaves Gable with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Namor McKenzie will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Namor McKenzie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from McKenzie. Gable shrugs it off though.
McKenzie throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dan Gable has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

McKenzie throws a sloppy head kick and Gable moves out of range easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McKenzie scores with a nice head shot.
A head kick by Gable misses
and McKenzie counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Gable takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Gable is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

and McKenzie counters with a right hand to the body.
And that's the end of the fight!
Namor McKenzie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got McKenzie winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
