Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Alexander! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexander shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kim but Kim pushes him off and we're back to square one. Alexander will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kim throws a series of punches but Alexander moves out of range. Kim looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Alexander! Kim prevents Alexander from getting the reversal. Alexander is trying to reverse the position but instead Kim has taken his back - oops! Kim is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Alexander is defending well though. Kim let's go of the attempt for now. Kim is riding his opponent, not letting Alexander buck him off. Kim is trying to control but Alexander is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Alexander is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Alexander is looking to get to half guard. Kim stands up from mount. Strange move. Kim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Alexander is trying desperately to improve position. Kim is standing up, even though he is in mount. Kim is breathing heavily. Alexander gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Alexander had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kim is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Alexander Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kim's back instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kim is really stuck here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim won't enjoy being in this position. Alexander looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Kim is tapping - it's over boys! Alexander picks up the submission victory!
