These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie with a poor takedown
and Rowler counters with a takedown into side control.
Rowler advances to mount.
Rowler landing strikes from the mount and Gracie is in trouble!
It looks like Helio Gracie has been cut.
Rowler with shots to the head and body - Gracie looks very uncomfortable down there.
That has opened up Helio Gracie's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Gracie tries to reverse the position but Rowler maintains control.

Rowler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gracie is looking to escape.
Gracie is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rowler cracks Gracie with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
