Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Masahiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toshihiro Nagasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masahiko Kimura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toshihiro Nagasaki! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nagasaki tries to avoid it but Kimura manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nagasaki to the ground. Nagasaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nagasaki darts in trying to clinch and Kimura counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kimura. Kimura postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nagasaki is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kimura, into his guard. Kimura looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nagasaki is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kimura has his foot on Nagasaki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nagasaki works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kimura controlling Nagasaki's posture. Nagasaki got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kimura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nagasaki has managed to get both his arms back between Kimura's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nagasaki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kimura looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Nagasaki has picked Kimura up and slammed him! Kimura can't keep hold of the triangle and Nagasaki manages to pass to side control! Nagasaki wants to stand but Kimura has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kimura looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kimura tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Masahiko Kimura dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nagasaki misses with a double jab
and Kimura counters with a single leg into guard. Nagasaki didn't expect that.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kimura drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kimura jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kimura drops back looking for a leg! Nagasaki is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nagasaki manages to kick Kimura off! Kimura jumps back into Nagasaki's guard. Kimura slips nicely into half guard. Kimura seems to be working for a kimura but Nagasaki defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nagasaki keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kimura wants to take a breather but Nagasaki is having none of it. Kimura is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kimura looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura throwing shots but Nagasaki is blocking nicely. Kimura seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Nagasaki is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
