Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hezekiah Munson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rakishi Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munson comes to the cage accompanied by Showdown. Tua has chosen Not Afraid-Eminem as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Tua, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Munson tries to close the distance and clinch but Tua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Munson moves away from the strike by Tua.
Munson lands with a kick to the temple. Tua shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Tua counters with a left to the body.
A lazy body kick from Munson
and Tua counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Munson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Tua misses with an uppercut
and Munson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tua!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hezekiah Munson.
Munson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tua is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Munson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
