Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Bisping! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wing Zero! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bisping keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bisping lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bisping throws a right and a left that both miss. Bisping fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bisping throws a series of punches but Zero moves out of range. Bisping attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Bisping avoids the body shot from Zero.

and Zero counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zero. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bisping pulls Zero in close to prevent any damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bisping escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zero gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Zero must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Zero sitting in guard here, content to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Michael Bisping. Zero drives through with a takedown into Bisping's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Bisping is breathing heavily. Zero tries to free his leg and advance position but Bisping is retaining full guard. Bisping is pulling down on Zero's head to control his posture. Zero is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Bisping looking to control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Bisping manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zero manages to get himself to full guard.

Bisping is fighting to break Zero's control of his arms but Zero is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Zero moves into the clinch. Bisping tries to break the clinch but Zero is controlling the position. Zero escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bisping looking to sit in guard and control but Zero gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zero trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Zero thows a body shot but no joy. Michael Bisping is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bisping lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zero circles away quickly and effectively. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bisping throws a series of punches but Zero moves out of range. Zero gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bisping working hard to break the clinch. Still in the clinch, Zero scores with a nice short uppercut. Zero escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bisping looks to land a combination but Zero avoids it well. Michael Bisping is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bisping throws a nice looking combination but Zero bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Zero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bisping tries to bum rush Zero with a series of wild strikes but Zero uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Zero is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bisping's half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zero is taking a breather. Bisping says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zero wants to free his trapped foot but Bisping is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Wing Zero. Zero closes the distance and clinches. Zero missing with knees to the body.

Zero is pulling down on Bisping's head. It's preventing any offense from Bisping, at least for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bisping pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zero is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bisping preventing the sweep. Zero keeping full guard, as Bisping tries to pass. Bisping trying to control but Zero is working from the bottom. Zero wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wing Zero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bisping throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fighters circling - Bisping throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Zero closes the distance and pushes Bisping back into the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bisping wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bisping tries to circle away but Zero has him pinned against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zero gets control of Bisping's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zero will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zero can do anything to dispel that myth. Bisping trying to control the position from guard on top but Zero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bisping preventing the sweep. Bisping showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bisping pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zero is keeping the position for now.

Wing Zero has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Zero scores with a takedown into Bisping's guard. Zero is stalling in the full guard. Bisping wants to stand up but Zero is controlling him. Michael Bisping has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bisping controls Zero momentarily but Zero frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zero controlling from the top position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Zero looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bisping puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Zero wants to get back to full guard. Zero is holding on to half guard well.
And that's the end of the fight! Wing Zero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Zero has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
