Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Chrono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rob Duncan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Chrono! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duncan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Duncan working away. Duncan fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Duncan with the ground and pound but Chrono regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Chrono really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duncan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chrono wants to control but Duncan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Duncan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Duncan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chrono keeps working. Duncan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Duncan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Duncan not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Chrono is refusing to be controlled, as Duncan sits in half guard. Duncan looks to land a strike but Chrono avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Duncan wants to control from the top but Chrono keeps moving. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Chrono preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Chrono keeping moving, preventing Duncan from controlling successfully. Chrono is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Duncan postures up in Chrono's guard and throws a big left but Chrono blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Chrono not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Duncan thows a big elbow that misses. Duncan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Duncan pushing down on Chrono's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Duncan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Duncan in particular looking to stall. Duncan prevents Chrono from standing back up.
Duncan slips a nice elbow through Chrono's hands, connecting with Chrono's forehead. Chrono trying to control here.
Duncan is just content to waste time from the top position. Chrono takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chrono is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Duncan is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duncan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Chrono's head. Duncan tries to free his leg and advance position but Chrono is retaining full guard. Duncan passes into half guard. Chrono is in trouble now - Duncan has advanced to mount! A nice elbow there by Duncan. Duncan unloading with bombs!
Chrono is rocked! Chrono looks gassed! Whack. That's a big, big shot from Duncan! Chrono is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rob Duncan!
