Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colton Howe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJaredd HHartt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howe's entrance music is Nightmare. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but HHartt circles away quickly and effectively.
Howe misses with a jab, cross combination.
HHartt gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Howe to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Howe stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Howe fails with a takedown attempt.
HHartt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
HHartt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Howe gets to his feet. HHartt looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Howe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Howe seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down HHartt for as long as he can get away with.
HHartt is in a horrible position here. Howe smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

HHartt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Howe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Howe stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
HHartt gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Howe to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Howe content to stall in guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A momentary lapse in concentration from HHartt enables Howe to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. HHartt manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Howe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Howe tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Howe controls the position from side control.

Howe stands up.
HHartt is breathing heavily.
Howe darts in and clinches HHartt up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
HHartt misses with a knee to the head.
Howe tries for a takedown. No joy.
Howe has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. HHartt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Howe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colton Howe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Howe pulls guard effortlessly.
HHartt is sitting in close to Howe's body. Howe has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! HHartt is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, HHartt is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Howe.
