Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pete Blamm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Lenon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lenon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Billie Jean. Richard Lenon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Lenon! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blamm looks to score with a jab to the body but Lenon is just out of range. Blamm looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Blamm has managed to clinch.
Lenon has had enough of the clinch but Blamm keeps him there for the moment. Blamm working aggressively here.
Blamm escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lenon closes the distance looking to clinch and Blamm counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Blamm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lenon uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Lenon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Lenon controlling Blamm's posture. Blamm wants to control from the top but Lenon keeps moving. Lenon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Blamm has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lenon is proving hard to escape from. Blamm stopping the sweep attempt from Lenon. Lenon looking to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lenon gets a takedown into half guard. Lenon lands strikes from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blamm wants to control but Lenon is keeping busy and won't allow it. Blamm actively working from the bottom here. Blamm wants to improve his position but Lenon is controlling well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Lenon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pete Blamm will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Lenon tries to bench press Blamm off him but Blamm keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Lenon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Blamm stands up. Blamm fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blamm drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Blamm trying to control the position from guard on top but Lenon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Blamm postures up in Lenon's guard and throws a big left but Lenon blocks it.

Lenon is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Blamm is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Lenon throwing hammer fists to the chest of Blamm. What's that going to do exactly? Lenon swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Lenon is trying desperately to improve position. Blamm trying to control but Lenon is having none of it. Blamm sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Blamm looking to control and managing it successfully. Lenon tries to reverse the position but Blamm maintains control. Lenon sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Blamm is just content to waste time from the top position. Lenon takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Lenon controls Blamm momentarily but Blamm frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blamm trying to control but Lenon is working from the bottom. Blamm tries to free his leg and advance position but Lenon is retaining full guard. Lenon working for submissions but it's allowed Blamm to get to half guard.
Blamm thows a huge punch but Lenon dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Blamm tries to free his leg and advance position but Lenon is retaining full guard. Lenon looking for a sweep. Not yet Lenon, not yet. Blamm trying to control the position from guard on top but Lenon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lenon tries to land a sweep but no joy. Blamm stands up and waves to Lenon to follow him. Lenon with a lazy takedown attempt and Blamm counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Pete Blamm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Lenon. Blamm gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lenon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Blamm gets a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pete Blamm dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Lenon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Blamm. Lenon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lenon controlling the position well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blamm is pressing down on Lenon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lenon is holding on for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lenon wants to clinch but Blamm slips to the side and Blamm makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Blamm keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Blamm shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lenon but Lenon pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lenon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blamm's waist but Blamm gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lenon off to one side. Blamm has taken the fight to the clinch.
Blamm breaks from the clinch.
Lenon rushes Blamm and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lenon tries to stall but Blamm uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Blamm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lenon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Blamm can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blamm is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lenon is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Blamm manages to get back to half guard. Blamm might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Blamm is trying to control but Lenon manages to pass to mount!

Lenon is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Blamm has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Blamm! Blamm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lenon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lenon will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Lenon kicks Blamm off and gets to his feet. Blamm fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lenon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Blamm tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pete Blamm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No luck for Lenon with that takedown attempt. Pete Blamm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Lenon. Lenon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blamm swats him away and circles back towards the center. Blamm swats away the attempt to clinch by Lenon. Lenon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blamm paws at him with a jab and circles away. Blamm sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lenon shoots for a takedown but Blamm saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Blamm fails in his attempt to clinch. Lenon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blamm. Blamm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Blamm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lenon swivels and escapes. Lenon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lenon. Blamm circles away from the clinch attempt and Blamm counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lenon looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Blamm is figuring out what he wants to do next. Richard Lenon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Blamm has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Pete Blamm showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Blamm, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
