Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renato Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rain Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Unstoppable Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Renato Rua could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rain Smith's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Renato Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rua counters with a head kick.
Rua lands a nice leg kick that just misses Smith's sensitive parts.
Smith throws a nice looking combination but Rua bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Smith falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rua makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Smith looks gassed!
Rua fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Smith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Smith throws a series of punches but Rua avoids them all with ease.
Rua throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Smith's head.
Rua lands a brutal head kick. Smith looks out on his feet and Rua throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Renato Rua!
