Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Diamond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Hershey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diamond kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hells Bells. Hershey is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rising to the Top. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxim Diamond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steve Hershey! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hershey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diamond as he avoids it easily. Hershey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Diamond sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hershey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diamond manages to avoid it. Hershey throws a hook but Diamond blocks it. Hershey fails with the takedown. Maxim Diamond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Hershey. Diamond turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Diamond throws a quick inside leg kick. Hershey has a takedown stuffed. Diamond scores with a nice body kick.
Hershey looks gassed! Diamond lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hershey takes a step back to recover. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diamond plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Diamond pushes Hershey away with a front kick. Diamond tries a head kick but it misses.
Hershey takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diamond works the jab nicely. Diamond lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hershey crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Diamond - the referee stops the clock and Hershey gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Diamond. Hershey manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Good shot there by Diamond. Steve Hershey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diamond has managed to clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hershey as Diamond tries to tie him up. Hershey working hard to break the clinch. Diamond lands an elbow just above Hershey 's eye. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diamond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Diamond throws a head kick that half lands.
Hershey is rocked! Maxim Diamond is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hershey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hershey is still on wobbly legs! Can Diamond finish him? Hershey tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Diamond with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diamond lands a big head kick that sends Hershey to the canvas! Diamond follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
