Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henry Beninth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Beninth throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Alves uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Beninth.

Beninth motions for Alves to come forward. Beninth throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Alves cracks Beninth with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Alves is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Beninth controls Alves momentarily but Alves frees himself.
Beninth has momentary wrist control but Alves slips an elbow through the middle.

Alves is looking for a kimura but Beninth is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Alves to get the leverage.

Beninth has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alves can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Alves has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Beninth is proving hard to escape from.

Beninth working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alves doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Alves manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alves has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Beninth to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Alves is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Beninth pulls down on the head and he's put Alves to sleep! This one is all over!
