Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derek Roy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stan Little! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little scores with the left hand. Roy knows he should have avoided that one. Roy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Little lands a really nice looking cross but Roy seems unphased.
Little connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Roy momentarily.
Little misses the jab. Roy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Roy remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Little is not content to let Roy control the position. Little gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Little has a hand on Roy's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Roy takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Little is squirming around, avoiding Roy's attempts to control the action. Little slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Little gets back to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Little is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Little stopping the sweep attempt from Roy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Little is in close to Roy's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Roy can't keep his opponent in guard - Little advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Roy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Roy working for a triangle but Little defends it easily.
Little pushes down on Roy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Little seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Roy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roy wants to control but Little is keeping busy and won't allow it. Little wants to work for an arm triangle but Roy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Stan Little dominated that round. That's time! Roy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Roy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Little's guard. Little looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Roy passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Roy stopping the sweep attempt from Little. Roy wants to control from the top but Little keeps moving. Roy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Little escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Roy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Roy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Roy trying to control the position from guard on top but Little is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Derek Roy. Little just misses with a punch to the body.
Little connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Roy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Little counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Little lands a leg kick that knocks Roy off balance momentarily. Roy avoids the body shot from Little.
Stan Little seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body punch from Little. Little wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roy on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Little shoots in and gets a takedown into Roy's guard. Little avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Little looking to pass the guard. Little works over Roy with some ground and pound from guard. Little distracts Roy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Little loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Roy looking for a guillotine here but Little defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Little postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Roy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Little, into his guard. Roy preventing the sweep. Little had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roy defends it easily. Roy stopping the sweep attempt from Little. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Little keeping moving, preventing Roy from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Little showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Little displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roy. Little manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Roy on his heels. He'll look to pass Roy's guard now, I'm sure. Roy has momentary wrist control but Little slips an elbow through the middle. Little trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Roy tries to improve position but can't. Roy is working hard here to advance position. Little is working Roy over with some ground and pound from side control. Roy gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Roy wants to control but Little is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roy looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Little not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Roy is looking for a sweep. Little is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Little is looking for a kimura but Roy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Little to get the leverage. Roy looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Roy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Little pulls his head out easily. Little trying to pass the guard but Roy defending well. Little sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Roy defending well though. Little uses his free foot to push down on Roy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Roy. Roy is in all sorts of trouble here.

Little tries to pass to full mount but Roy defends it. Roy looking for submissions off his back. Little scoring with strikes to the body and head. Little passes to full mount! Roy takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Little looking to control but Roy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Roy taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Little throwing strikes here but Roy is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Little landing strikes from the mount and Roy is in trouble! Little thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Little controlling the pace for now. Stan Little is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Roy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Little tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Little can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Roy is looking to escape. Derek Roy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Little. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Little throws some wild stikes that Roy manages to avoid easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Roy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Stan Little comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Little has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
