Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ilya Tsymbilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karel Pavlinenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ilya Tsymbilar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karel Pavlinenko! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsymbilar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pavlinenko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Pavlinenko misses with the combination.
Pavlinenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tsymbilar moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tsymbilar lunges at Pavlinenko with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pavlinenko's hand. Pavlinenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tsymbilar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tsymbilar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Tsymbilar controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tsymbilar looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Tsymbilar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pavlinenko's face.

Tsymbilar is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pavlinenko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Tsymbilar with good strikes from the mount here! Tsymbilar throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Tsymbilar cracks Pavlinenko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tsymbilar looking to secure an arm triangle but Pavlinenko defends it well. You get the feeling that Pavlinenko really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pavlinenko is trying to stand up here but Tsymbilar is controlling him well. Tsymbilar decides to return to a standing position. Pavlinenko moves away from the strike by Tsymbilar. Tsymbilar lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tsymbilar. Pavlinenko throws a nice looking combination but Tsymbilar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tsymbilar looks for a takedown but Pavlinenko sprawls well. Tsymbilar tries a head kick but it misses.

Tsymbilar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pavlinenko lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Pavlinenko content just to control the position here. Pavlinenko wants to control the pace but Tsymbilar is squirming around nicely. Pavlinenko has hold of Tsymbilar's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tsymbilar manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tsymbilar bucks Pavlinenko off and manages to get back to his feet! Pavlinenko jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tsymbilar avoids the head kick by Pavlinenko.
Pavlinenko loads up on a big right hand but Tsymbilar slips the punch. Tsymbilar misses with a takedown attempt - Pavlinenko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Pavlinenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tsymbilar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Tsymbilar gets back to half guard. Pavlinenko takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Tsymbilar makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Tsymbilar throws a body punch but Pavlinenko moves out of range. Pavlinenko moves out of range as Tsymbilar strikes. Pavlinenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tsymbilar throws a head kick but Pavlinenko moves out of range.
Tsymbilar misses with a left hand and Tsymbilar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tsymbilar misses with a looping left. Tsymbilar dips to his left and cracks Pavlinenko with an uppercut! Tsymbilar tries to clinch and Pavlinenko counters with a straight right hand. Pavlinenko looks to land a left hand but Tsymbilar moved out of range nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ilya Tsymbilar dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Tsymbilar fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pavlinenko on the side of the head. Tsymbilar works the jab nicely. Tsymbilar lands with an uppercut that bounces Pavlinenko off the cage and back into rage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Tsymbilar throws a head kick that misses. A big right from Tsymbilar misses. Tsymbilar throws a hook to the side of Pavlinenko's head but Pavlinenko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Tsymbilar tries to clinch but Pavlinenko moves out of range. Tsymbilar scores with a jab to the head.
Pavlinenko swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Pavlinenko fails with a takedown attempt. Pavlinenko slips under a jab. A combination from Pavlinenko does no damage. Pavlinenko gets caught flat footed, as Tsymbilar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tsymbilar decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. A head kick misses from Tsymbilar. Tsymbilar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pavlinenko stalks Tsymbilar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tsymbilar's face. Tsymbilar staggers backwards, shaken. Tsymbilar lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Karel Pavlinenko has been cut. Pavlinenko is breathing heavily. Tsymbilar cracks Pavlinenko with a right hand to the side of the head.
Pavlinenko is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Pavlinenko lands with a slapping head kick. Pavlinenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Tsymbilar finish him? Tsymbilar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Tsymbilar moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsymbilar circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Pavlinenko to the canvas! Pavlinenko doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Tsymbilar keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
