Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Harvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando del Valle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). del Valle has chosen What I Do by Sepultura as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
del Valle blocks a jab.
del Valle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Harvey as he avoids it easily.
Harvey moves out of range as del Valle strikes.

del Valle clinches up against the cage.
Harvey is trying to break the clinch but del Valle is controlling him.

Harvey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
del Valle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
del Valle tries to clinch but Harvey moves out of range.
del Valle ducks under a wild hook from Harvey.
del Valle darts in trying to clinch
and Harvey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
del Valle misses the body punch
and Harvey counters with a right hand to the body.
Harvey scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

del Valle gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Harvey.
del Valle tries to clinch but Harvey moves out of range.
Harvey misses with a body shot.
del Valle looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Fernando del Valle has been cut.
del Valle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Harvey swivels and escapes.
del Valle pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
del Valle throws a chopping leg kick but Harvey manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Harvey lands a really nice looking cross but del Valle seems unphased.
del Valle tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Harvey lands with a good body shot.
A combination from del Valle does no damage.

Harvey misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from del Valle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harvey throws a hook but del Valle avoids it easily.
del Valle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Paul Harvey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernando del Valle.
Harvey connects with the punch.
Harvey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by del Valle.
Harvey connects with a body shot.
Harvey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
del Valle has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Harvey.
The crowd cheers as Harvey lands an impressive looking overhand right. del Valle doesn't seem phased though.

Paul Harvey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
del Valle fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Harvey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between del Valle's hands.
Harvey lands a nice hook to del Valle's body. del Valle takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
del Valle looks gassed!
Harvey cracks del Valle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

That has opened up Fernando del Valle's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
del Valle fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Harvey connects with a right hand. del Valle shakes it off.
Harvey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Harvey feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends del Valle sprawling to the canvas! del Valle rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Harvey finish him?!
del Valle is still on wobbly legs! Can Harvey finish him?
Harvey connects with an inside leg kick.

The cut above Fernando del Valle's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
del Valle is trying desperately to land a takedown but Harvey is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for del Valle.
del Valle wants to clinch up but Harvey keeps it at a distance.
del Valle thows a body shot but no joy.
del Valle seems to have recovered his senses.

Harvey cracks del Valle with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! del Valle looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Harvey finish him?
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harvey, as that shot connected.
del Valle takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Harvey lands a big uppercut and del Valle crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but del Valle looks OK. Harvey waves del Valle back to his feet!

Fernando del Valle's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
del Valle gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Harvey gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
