The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ecstacuy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ecstacuy stuffs the takedown attempt from Rujo. Rujo gets slowly back to his feet.

Rujo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ecstacuy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rujo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ecstacuy swivels and escapes.
Rujo shoots for a double leg takedown but Ecstacuy sprawls well. He's pushed Rujo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Ecstacuy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Patricio Rujo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rujo is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ecstacuy is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rujo.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ecstacuy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
