The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chingson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Werdum wants to get back to full guard.

Chingson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Chingson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Werdum to the ground. Chingson is now in Werdum's guard.

Werdum has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chingson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Werdum had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chingson defends it easily.

Chingson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Werdum is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chingson pulls his head out easily.

Chingson is keen to just control but Werdum is a slippery customer.

Chingson throws a strike but Werdum rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Werdum is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chingson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chingson has escaped and now he's on top!

Chingson drops back looking for a leg! Werdum is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Werdum manages to kick Chingson off! Chingson jumps back into Werdum's guard.

Chingson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Werdum to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Chingson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Werdum pulls down on the head and he's put Chingson to sleep! This one is all over!
