Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pika Kalei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac - All Eyes On Me. Kalei has chosen New York as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Forrest Ortiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pika Kalei!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Nice body kick there by Ortiz.
Kalei takes a swing at Ortiz's ribcage but misses.
Ortiz throws a push kick but Kalei slaps the foot to one side.
Kalei tries to clinch but Ortiz is having none of it.
Kalei misses with a looping left.
Ortiz lands with a nice body kick.
Ortiz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kalei has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ortiz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ortiz bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kalei closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kalei lands in his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kalei throws a big right hand that misses.
Kalei sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ortiz's guard.
Kalei throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kalei seems to be working for a kimura but Ortiz defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Ortiz is looking to control Kalei's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ortiz avoid being mounted?
Kalei throwing shots but Ortiz is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ortiz manages to get to full guard.
Kalei loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kalei drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kalei seems to have locked his on tight now - Ortiz screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kalei, as he picks up the win!
